Kate Nolan is a well-known botanical art teacher. She has agreed to do an online demonstration for BASA members of techniques for eucalyptus leaves on Saturday 18 April at 2pm.
Single leaves, particularly eucalypt leaves, offer a great opportunity to get into colour and detail with your watercolours. Luckily no two are the same so there is sometimes a welcome latitude available in composition and execution. There can be opportunities for wet in wet as the colours sometimes merge. Look for one with interesting shape and colour.
Members can register to attend the demonstration by clicking the Register button. Cost is $10.
A Zoom link to the meeting will be sent on the morning of the 18th to those who have registered. If it hasn't arrived by 11am please check your spam folder.
The demo will start at 2pm but the Zoom link will be open from 1:30pm to allow participants to connect. Information on using Zoom is available here.
The demonstration will be recorded and available later from the website to those who have registered.
