A self-taught emerging artist with a background in STEM, Rehana was born and raised in Australia. In recent years, cancer and the shift to becoming a full time carer forced her to slow down, giving her the opportunity to pick up her paints again. Now, she finds inspiration in the simple everyday wonders that children discover - fallen leaves, gum nuts and playground treasures often overlooked in the rush of adult life. Through delicate watercolour paintings, Rehana captures the unnoticed beauty of the world as seen through a child’s eyes, inviting viewers to pause, observe and find joy in the ordinary.
