John is a contemporary visual artist specializing in botanical art. With a focus on pushing the boundaries of traditional representations in this genre, he has over 23 years of experience exhibiting his work nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions at various reputable private and public galleries. Throughout his career, John has received multiple awards and recognitions, including a Gold Medal RHS (2005) and the American Society of Botanic Artists (ASBA) Dianne Bouchier Award for Excellence in Botanical Art in 2013.

His artwork can be found in numerous public and private collections worldwide, including prestigious institutions such as the National Gallery of Victoria, Oakspring Garden Foundation, and the Hunt Institute in the USA. He has contributed to both the ‘Highgrove Florilegium’ and ‘Transylvania Florilegium’ under the auspices of the H.R.H Prince of Wales’ Charitable Foundation. Currently, John is represented by Scott Livesey Galleries in Australia.
