![]() | I am an artist born in Myanmar ( Burma ), lives and works as a Specialist Geriatrician in Central Coast, NSW, Australia. I painted from an early age but my busy life does not allow me to paint as much as I wanted to. Six years ago I picked up my brush again and try to give more time for the hobby I love. I enjoy drawing with watercolor and I mainly work from live specimen and photographs. I care about beauty, detail and excellence of different kind of flowers. The season, nature and plants surrounds attracts me. My main inspiration are flowers and plants. Roses are my all-time favorites subjects and I am particularly fascinated by the pattern, colors, shapes, form and detail beauty of roses. Working and living in Central Coast, surrounded by beautiful nature, I used to go for a walk along the coastal line and National Parks. I am very much enjoying and observing all the forms of nature and details of the plants, leaves, petals and different colors through the seasons. I picked up dry leaves, took so many photos of wild flowers along the way and paint when I back home. Botanical illustration has been a passion of mine. Botanical Art gives me great happiness and joy. In 2021, I have undertaken Society of Botanical Art ( SBA )-London, distant learning course and received a Diploma in Botanical Art from SBA (with distinction) in 2024. I am also a member of Botanical Art Society of Australia (BASA). |
