I am a botanical artist. My practice concentrates on finding the beauty in sometimes overlooked botanical subjects. I love to capture the intricate detail of shape, form and represent the subject so as to look as three dimensional as possible.

I mainly pick botanical subjects that have beautiful sculptural forms and endeavour to bring them to life in the best way I can. This is achieved by working in watercolour - a natural water-based medium to capture a botanical subject that is primarily water-based, and also graphite.
