The program includes both face-to-face and online classes across all skill levels and begins from Monday 26 April 2021.

Their wonderful and highly experienced tutors are some of Australia’s best so you know your skills and understanding of botanical art will only improve over the course of the term.  Profiles of each teacher can be found here: https://www.rbgfriendsmelbourne.org/friends-art-program/meet-our-tutors/

Face-to-face classes will be delivered by Dianne Emery, Kate Nolan, John Pastoriza~Pinol and Amanda Ahmed.

Online classes will be delivered by Dianne Emery, David Reynolds, John Pastoriza~Pinol and Amanda Ahmed.  Online classes are perfect for anyone in regional areas, interstate or overseas.

If you like to work independently but have the benefit of a teacher to guide you with work, Kate Nolan’s classes on Mondays are perfect for you. Offering classes in both the morning and afternoon, Kate is happy for you to work on your own project and work with you individually to improve your skills in botanic art.  Kate’s classes are suitable for all skill levels.

For advanced and intermediate students, they have face-to-face classes with both John and Dianne.

Dianne’s class will be presented weekly on Wednesday morning and John’s fortnightly on Sundays.  John’s classes in particular are designed to challenge and drive your skill development.

For Beginners and Intermediate students, David Reynolds will guide you through a project throughout the term.  David’s classes are both online and with David’s nurturing teaching style and exceptional talent, you will thoroughly enjoy and improve by being part of this class.

If you would like a basic refresher or have recently completed a Beginners’ Workshop, you might also like to consider the online Ongoing Beginners’ class on Saturday afternoons with Amanda.

Beginners’ Workshops for brand new artists are also available both online and face-to-face and will all be delivered by Amanda who will take you step-by-step through the key foundations of botanic art providing you with the skills you need to move into ongoing classes in the future.

If you are interested in any of these classes, please email botanicart@frbgmelb.org.au.  You can also visit their website to view class descriptions. https://www.rbgfriendsmelbourne.org/friends-art-program/botanic-art-classes/
