Annette Dahler has been interested in art from a young age and completed a certificate of textile pattern design in Germany. She changed professions and committed to a career in healthcare.

In 2017 after retiring, Annette rediscovered her love of art and has attended workshops and courses using different media. Discovering botanic and wildlife art has opened a new world that she continues to explore.Her focus is on colour pencil and watercolour.

She has exhibited in the annual Australian National Botanic Gardens through the Botanic Artists in the Garden group and teaches colour pencil courses in Canberra.
